.brussel. part 2

hmm.. i’ve never write a blog in english. i have some goals in my life for next milestone. one of those is fluently communicating in deifferent language. one of mission to accomplished is using my blog to practice my english. so from now on, i would write my blog in two language which are english and bahasa. i hope in next three months , i could write in 3 language. sorry for the inconvenience because of my awful grammar or weird choice of words.

okay, this blog will tell you about the second part of my brussel journey.

after we saw the manneken pis and wondering about that man or statue thing. (until now, i still don’t know whether it is a man or statue. sorry for you whom expected the answer from me. hahaha) our next destination was Place Royal. since we found a good place for eat, and it was around 2 pm. so we had lunch in a park near “paleis voor congressen” (in dutch) or “palais des congres” (in france).

FYI: brussel is 2 languages city. in some parts of brussel you will see two languages sign, two languages menu. and there aren’t any english, just dutch and france. Some people also can’t use english (or don’t want to? i don’t know).

after we had our simple lunch. ( i had 2 muffin, mescha had bread, and ghozi had rice with sarden) we were going to the Place Royal!!. we stopped for several times for taking some pictures. on our way, we found posters about INDONESIA. we were very proud that INDONESIA has a poster on brussel’s wall. the poster was giving an information about indonesia culture exhibition (we think). this is the poster we found.

 

finally we reached our destination, PLACE ROYAL. this is not a PALACE, but i think it is a museum. after taking some pictures, we were going to next destination. PALAIS ROYAL.

PALAIS ROYAL is different withPLACE ROYAL. PALAIS Royal is is the official palace of the King of the Belgians. it is placed in the center of brussel. (actually, wikipedia told me about it, i dont know whether it is in the center or south side of brussel). and finally we have a photo that three of us are captured in it. thanks to a guy who passed by. actually we were intended to take panoramic photograph of this palace, but the bus already came. we can’t take full picture of this awesome palace. this palace is open for tourist just for some time, and when we came, it was not the day that tourist can walk trough that huge door.hiks.

forget that beautiful palace. we were taking that green-yellow bus to a very huge gate called “parc du cinquentenaire” (i don’t know it was the name of the gate or the park) . this gate is quite similar with the one in berlin (brandenburg gate). this gate was amazed us. we didn’t know that brussel has this kind of architectural building. me and mescha were having a debate about this gate. i thougth that it was similar to a gate in france, but mescha knows better, she said it was simmilar to a gate in berlin. okay mescha you won! but only this time!! hahaha. we were trying to take a photograph in front of this gate, but no one was helping us. there is someone, but he took badly. hiks.

do you know which one is brandenburg gate and which one is parc du cinquentenaire??

for my girlfriend and mescha’s boy friend. we were just taking photographs. hehe. I wished that you were there, beside me. but i don’t know what mescha’s wishes. hahaha peace mesch.

in front of this gate, placed a beautiful autumn park. and we couldn’t resist our desire to take photo there. we take evey kind of angle that we (think) would be good angle. even if we have to lay down on bunch of leaves (yellow one not a green) and it was very disgusting. why? it is because after we lay down and took picture, ghozi found some dog sh*ts. damn. lucky for us, the dog s**ts were not broken. those were in very good and beautiful shape. so we can assumed none of us were touched or stepped on it. hahaha. hueeeeek.

okay, the most regretting according what i’ve seen after take that pose was this pose. can you imagine if the spot where my face lay down is full of fresh sh*t??? hueekkkkkkkkk
